Who Am I?

Hi, my name is Filipa Trovão. My journey began in biochemistry, where I immersed myself in the intricate world of structural biology and glycobiology throughout my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD. Along the way, I discovered a passion not only for research but also for making science approachable and sharing discoveries through communication. Today, my story has entered a new chapter. I’ve carried the same curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and communication skills from the lab into my current role as a Project Manager. Here, you’ll find my path from science to management - a reflection of my belief that whether in research or in project management, I’m driven by the same purpose: building bridges, solving problems, and creating impact.
